Who is Jen Swanty?
Jen Swanty and her family have been part of the Loveland community since the early 1990s. For over 20 years, she played a key role in helping her father run a successful Allstate agency in Loveland, where she had the opportunity to connect with many community members.
Following in her parents’ footsteps, Jen has been deeply committed to community service, contributing to various organizations over the years, including Alternatives to Violence, the Loveland Housing Authority, the Affordable Housing Commission, Grace Upon Grace, and multiple initiatives within the local school district. She currently serves on the Thompson School District’s Master Planning Committee, working to support the future of education in Loveland.
As a single mother of four daughters—and now a proud mother-in-law—Jen has instilled the value of community involvement in her family. She enjoys engaging her daughters in volunteer projects and believes in the importance of giving back. As she has shared, “I love taking my girls with me on various volunteer projects. It’s important to teach them to give back to the community.”

Jen is supporting our schools and Families of Loveland
As a parent, Jen Swanty is dedicated to supporting both her children’s schools and her family’s needs. She remains actively involved in their education by maintaining regular communication with teachers, attending school events, and reinforcing learning at home.
As a candidate, Jen is committed to supporting both schools and families by ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality education and the resources necessary for success. She will work to strengthen the partnership between schools and families, fostering communication and providing support that helps students thrive both academically and emotionally. By prioritizing policies that invest in education, improve school resources, and empower parents, Jen aims to help create a brighter future for all children in Loveland.
Affordable housing Let’s talk about attainable housing
Jen Swanty believes that affordable housing is essential to ensuring that all individuals and families have access to safe, stable, and decent living conditions. Providing affordable options within the community supports diverse populations, reduces homelessness, and enhances the overall quality of life for all Loveland residents.
As a current commissioner on Loveland’s Affordable Housing Commission and a former board member of the Loveland Housing Authority, Jen understands the critical role that housing plays in building a thriving community. She firmly believes that investing in affordable housing strengthens local economies and promotes sustainable development, creating a more inclusive and resilient Loveland.
Jen will bring transparency to City Council of Loveland
Jen Swanty will advocate for increased transparency in Loveland’s City Council, recognizing that openness is essential for building trust between elected officials and the community they serve. She firmly believes that respectful and constructive dialogue leads to better decision-making and that every citizen deserves to be heard.
Jen will approach the council with an open mind, as well as respect and empathy for her fellow councilors. As she has stated, “I am not coming to City Council with an agenda in mind. I plan to listen, ask questions, and help do what’s best for Loveland as a community.” Through this approach, she is committed to fostering collaboration and ensuring that local government remains accountable and responsive to the needs of all residents.
